The challenge
Hinge engaged FOOD to deeply understand the unique needs of neurodivergent users to create a more inclusive dating experience. The business had gathered complex behavioural research, but needed to translate these scientific insights into a compelling narrative and actionable recommendations that internal product teams and C-suite executives could seamlessly implement.
The approach
We took the lead on editorial direction for the initiative, authoring a comprehensive research report that synthesised findings from behavioural scientists, creative technologists, and neurodiversity experts. We focused on developing strategic narratives around the specific role AI technology can play in fostering authentic, meaningful connections.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, we turned abstract scientific data into clear internal communications and creative solutions designed to fit the project brief.
The outcome
The research report provided the Hinge executive team with a definitive roadmap for product inclusivity. The insights and actionable recommendations directly advanced Hinge's core mission, giving their internal teams the precise framework needed to design features that better serve neurodivergent users and foster authentic human relationships.
